Literacy at Work focuses on improving teaching and learning through coaching so that all students have the best chance at succeeding academically. We've taken practices that we know are effective and paired them with research-based practices and designed coaching, consulting, and training around them.
Our work has helped instructional coaches overcome self-doubt when deciding on appropriate strategies to approach the coaching work, gain greater confidence when executing these strategies, and improve their coaching practice. Our goal is to help instructional coaches and educational leaders increase student achievement through high quality and engaging learning experiences. In 2020, Literacy at Work hosted it's very first coaching event, the Mind Your Coaching Institute, a conference created specifically for instructional coaches, teacher leaders, and administrators to help them master the art and craft of coaching. We also provide continuous learning via webinars and mini-courses found in our coaching resources warehouse, CoachCademy. We would be thrilled to work with you and your staff either virtually or face-to-face to improve teaching and learning at your school. Contact us today to get started! |
